Ermeneutica del pathos: Nietzsche e le scienze

Andrea Bocchetti

Abstract

Starting with some of the authors of scientific thought to whom Nietzsche turned his attention, this article will attempt to show how the fundamental components of Nietzsche’s deconstruction are closely related to the inspiration the German philosopher drew from morphology, biology and physiology. By going back to the pathic origin of knowledge, Nietzsche intended to link the inner workings of organic processes with hermeneutic activity, understanding interpretation as the very expression of life in its expansion on the world.
